Project Goals
Serán is an industry-leading bioscience company located in Bend Oregon. With a strong grasp of who they are and what they stand for, our challenge was to create a new identity system as well as launch this new brand ahead of an important trade show date.
Our Role
Brand development, user experience concepts, photo and video direction, print design and custom web development on the Umbraco platform.
Brand concepts
Through exploration and iteration, we were able to establish a new design system that is simple with bold typography, strong images, and with minimalist elegance. The new logo uses the accent mark in the name to illustrate a caplet delivering medicine into the body.
Getting ready for PharmSci360
Serán had committed to be a presenter at PharmSci 360 in San Antonio Texas. PharmSci 360 has become the premier event where pharmaceutical science, careers, and community come together. Our task was to arm the company with new stationery and a custom trade show booth for the event. The booth was designed to be modular and work in a 20x20 or 10x20 ft. space.
A digital approach to branding their services
We designed and developed a new website for Serán with the intention of highlighting the six services they offer as well as the machinery they use in house. This fully editable website was developed on the Umbraco Content management platform. Custom video and photography was necessary to capture the Serán team in action.
