Project Goals

Design a multi-lingual virtual tour and voting campaign exploring France’s new regions through breathtaking Airbnb listings.

Maisons de France

Airbnb seized the opportunity to showcase its most magical French listings with this coordinated digital experience, timed with the formal renaming of France’s 14 provincial regions. In both English and French versions of the experience, each region was represented by three stunning Airbnb listings. Users up-voted their favorites in each region, and winners were announced and championed across Airbnb’s digital channels. Each vote earned users the chance to win a vacation at their chosen getaway.

UX and visual design

In partnership with Martian SF, work on this project included voting mechanism wireframes and UX design, pre-, during-, and post-voting versions of the experience, as well as mobile-first UI and visual design.
